Morning Star promotes the development of the Mauritian Creative Industry, with its partner Maurisoft,
official representative of Adobe in Mauritius, the Indian Ocean Islands and French speaking coutries in Africa.
Through a five-year partnership with Maurisoft, Morning Star has been actively involved in the training of Mauritian creatives and helping to build a stronger, more confident Creative community.
Experts from Morning Star have regularly visited the country with the aim to train creative professionals but also to coach Mauritian trainers and to lead a greater number of people towards Adobe certifications.
“Morning Star has brought a precious contribution to our Creative Industry,” says Maurisoft General Manager Nicolas Le Maire. “We are extremely grateful for this fruitful collaboration that enables us to offer quality training and expertise to our local talents and assist the community in becoming more independent.”
On top of regular training seminars for individuals, Maurisoft also organises customised training to respond to the specific needs of organisations and industries. These are elaborated in close partnership with Morning Star to ensure students get the most of the training sessions.
Some of the major players in diverse Mauritian industries have already benefited from those training, including: Daily newspapers L’Express and Le Mauricien; leading advertising agencies Circus, Maurice Publicité Ogilvy and Chesteroc, textile manufacturer Floreal Knitwear; and furniture and electrical retail stores Courts amongst others.
Morning Star also offers consulting to enterprises to improve their productivity and follow up of students after courses.
A number of workshops and customised training for enterprises are already planned for the rest of 2010 and Morning Star is looking forward to continuing this great work.
